ISA Pagoda

ISA (UK) has launched a genuinely innovative and unique new refrigerated cabinet for the creative display of ice cream, pastry and chocolate.  The Pagoda, with its concave glass and split level display areas, offers excellent product visibility, versatile merchandising opportunities and numerous practical features.  Straight and curved modules can be multiplexed to create counter runs to suit any space - ideal for ice cream parlours, pastry shops, café/bars and chocolatiers.

The two-level Pagoda has been designed to allow customers to get closer than ever before to the display case.  The combination of convex and concave lines provides a unique view of the display items, from both above and in front, allowing customers to ‘feast their eyes’.  The split level allows more products to be displayed in the same footprint, maximising sales from a minimum of floor space.  Newly designed refrigeration shelves are almost perpendicular to the front glass allowing products to be displayed even closer to the front.

There are four versions of Pagoda, suitable for ice cream, ventilated pastry, static pastry and chocolate (with humidity control).  The temperatures of the display areas are totally flexible and with one touch can be independently adjusted between -20 degrees Celsius and +2 degrees Celcius.  In this way, for example, an ice cream area could quickly be turned into a pastry display area.  This makes the Pagoda extremely flexible - able to cope with changes in demand or new sales opportunities at the touch of a button.

Many new features are included to make the Pagoda economical, practical and easy to use.  New LED lighting technology means that the illumination no longer generates heat.  Specially designed air flow patterns around the shelves help reduce energy consumption.  Patented new technologies, such as the tempered glass and airtight gasket, minimise cold air loss also leading to improved energy consumption.

To help with maintenance a number of features are included.  Autoclean is new technology introduced to help the operator maintain the Pagoda in a clean and hygienic condition.  The Autoclean system cleans the inside of the cabinet just by turning on a tap.  The opening glass panels (gas-assisted on the top sections), the removable shelves, lifting evaporator and sliding lower-section display drawers all help with regular cleaning tasks.  The drawers feature telescopic slides in stainless steel.

A range of modules is available to help put together the most favourable options.  Various straight and curved sections can be combined with three different heights.  The three heights have either three, two, one or no shelves – there are two choices for each height.  Shelves are tempered glass to maximise visibility and the supports are finished in burnished stainless steel.

Two styles of Pagoda are available – the Aria and the Icona.  The Aria features the glass-fronted, lower display area while the Icona has a solid panel on the lower section.  The panel is available in a choice of decorations and colours to complement other interior decor.  Aria and Icona sections can be combined within the same counter runs.

In line with its Ecology Project all ISA products use 100% HCFC-free polyurethane insulation systems.  ISA (UK) is dedicated to supporting its customers and end-users in the UK, whether for single items or for complete projects.  The company offers not only comprehensive sales and technical support but also customises, delivers, installs and commissions equipment.  These services, together with maintenance programmes, are also available through an extensive dealer network.  The full range of Tasselli and ISA products and shopfittings are supplied exclusively in the UK through ISA (UK), the UK division of ISA S.p.A, Italy.
