The highlight of the ISA (UK) stand at the forthcoming Hotelympia exhibition (February 17-21, ExCel, London) will be the UK launch of the spectacular new ISA UP range of counters and backfittings. This striking new-look, designed along the lines of a traditional jewellery display counter, guarantees immediate customer attention, and is an ideal showcase for the creation of unique product displays. Incorporating refrigerated pastry and ice-cream display cabinets the system uses a variety of different size modules to create a versatile and modern display and counter arrangement - ideal for ice-cream parlours, patisseries, hotels, food-halls and coffee bars.
The recently launched Gelatomix - ISA’s new concept in the display, preparation and serving of scooping ice-cream – was also designed to be integrated into UP counter runs. The pioneering Gelatomix system allows customers to choose any combinations of flavours and ingredients, which are artistically mixed on a frozen slab before being served. The whole activity offers customers a high level of choice and creative involvement, together with a real sense of theatre. The Gelatomix concept will be demonstrated throughout Hotelympia by a skilled Italian artisan. Visitors to the ISA stand will not only be able to watch menu combinations being mixed but also have the chance to taste the creations.

The flexibility of the modular UP range allows displays to be created and recreated to meet the changing demands of an operation. Aesthetic and ergonomic considerations are combined to allow an optimum solution to be created. A wide range of material and colour finishes are available, ensuring a perfect fit into any decorative setting. Technologically, the low-consumption refrigeration system and energy-saving lighting minimises the system’s environmental impact. In line with its Ecology Project, all ISA’s new products are 100% CFC-free, using eco-friendly gases in their refrigeration systems and CFC-free polyurethane for insulation. A CO2 refrigerant option is currently being developed and will be available in future.
